School will start August 18. Student hours will 7:30 am to 1:50 pm (12:50 pm on Wednesdays). We will be offering a one hour activity hour, ECON Hour, from dismissal to 3:00 pm (2:00 pm on Wednesdays). The YMCA After School Zone will be from 3:00 – 5:30 pm (2:00-5:30 pm on Wednesdays). Both are free programs and will start Monday, August 25th. It has come to our attention that many of our students arrive to school prior to 7:00 a.m. Florida Statue 1003.31 requires that the school system provides supervision for students 30 minutes before the school day begins and 30 minutes after the school day ends. Our official school start time is 7:30 a.m. and our dismissal time is 1:50 p.m. Students should not arrive to school prior to 7:00 a.m. The safety of students represents the primary concern. Our goal is to ensure that all of our students arrive and leave school safely and that adequate supervision is available during their arrival and departure.
